Through an integrated supply chain, we deliver bulk high-quality Fair Trade certified organic and conventional oils by maintaining clear operational standards in growing, sourcing, handling, storage, processing, packaging, transportation and supply.
Our experience and reputation in the market of essential and vegetable oils is underpinned by our direct involvement in farming and processing. We also work closely with certifiers, processors, and growers to ensure our products meet the global quality standards. Our products are supplied worldwide -Europe, USA (North & South America) and Asia.
Our History
Athi River Oils started its commercial life with a small cold press vegetable oils processsing facility at Export Processing Zone in Athi River in 2004. Over the time, we have gained growth and experience in production of various cold pressed vegetable oils/essential oils.
Athi River Oils has strengthened its technical infrustructure and expanded its capital focusing on new business lines and trade opportunities to increase production capacity.

In 2007, we activated our desire to produce essential oils by opening a certified Fair for life organic distillation unit with outgrower farmer groups numbering over 2,000 in the Mount Kenya region around Nanyuki Town 194km North East of Kenyan capital Nairobi.
Since then, the company has grown from strength to strength and has focused to supply the world with quality cold pressed vegetable oils and essential oils.
